Receiving your Learner’s Permit is only the first step in the journey towards obtaining a full driver’s licence. Once you pass the initial test, successful Learners can drive under the supervision of both driving instructors and full licence holders of more than four years.
When it comes time to move onto Phase 2, you’ll receive a log book for recording driving experience as well as permission to drive on busy freeways while under supervision. Once you’ve completed the required hours and prescribed waiting period, your next step will be to obtain your Provisional licence.
